Another Memorable Sunday

Yesterday’s achievements at Ludlow & Plumpton saw a notable double for Bridget & the Rio Gold Racing Club and an impressive hurdling debut.

It was another magic Sunday for Team Skelton as the week was rounded off in style with an across the card treble. First up was Paul & Clare Rooney’s Longhouse Sale, who was making his debut over hurdle after a prolific bumper campaign last Summer. Jumping well throughout the race, Longhouse Sale moved easily to lead at the last under a motionless Harry to run out an impressive winner and keep his six-race unbeaten record in tact.

Later in the afternoon at Plumpton the members of the Rio Gold Racing Club were given cause for great celebration after watching their Istimraar & Goodthyneaway cruise to victory in their respective races. Doing the steering was Bridget Andrews, and in riding a double she brought up the notable achievement of riding her 100th winner under Rules. A vital cog in the Lodge Hill machine, the team could not be prouder of Bridget achievements and were delighted to see her notch up yet another big milestone.

Following his easy victory Istimraar has been declared to run tomorrow at Sedgefield, and with plenty of entries at the weekend a limited number of shares still available for 2019 there has never been a better time to get involved!
