Horseshoe Bay’s Winning Return

It was an super evening at Worcester yesterday for the syndicate members of Bermuda Thoroughbred Racing, whose Horseshoe Bay was making his long-awaited return to the track.

Horseshoe Bay relaxing this afternoon after his big day!

Last seen 800 days ago when running in the Group 3 Bahrain Trophy for Sir Michael Stoute & Ryan Moore, we were excited to see Horseshoe Bay make his hurdling debut after joining the team at Lodge Hill. Despite running a little green in places, Horseshoe Bay showed his class and kept on strongly in the closing stages to record a winning distance of a length and a quarter over Jonjo O’Neill’s Mountain Path.

The whole team were delighted with Horseshoe Bay’s win after such a long absence, and that the patience of his owners has paid off. The great news is that he is in great form today, and is feeling fresh & well after his victorious return to the track!
